In addition to presenting more than 30 acclaimed writers and inviting them to Berlin’s first African Book Festival, we put emphasis on introducing their wonderful books and stories to a wider German audience. During the three festival days, our partner bookstore, Buchhandlung Moritzplatz, will make over 40 titles available at their book stand.

Wine&Books

After the Opening Ceremony of “Writing in Migration” on April, 26th we warmly invite to Wine&Books in the Babylon foyer for the official opening of the Book Table.

Tête-à-Tête / Meet The Author

The authors of #WIM18 travel to Berlin with more than 70 titles in their bags. The most current books will be presented at Tête-à-Tête in Babylon Cinema 3. In an interview with journalists, translators, authors and the festival team, the authors will talk about their writing process, the emergence of their characters and future book projects. Afterwards the books can be signed in the Babylon lobby at Meet The Author.

Admission is free.
