Marcus Tesch was born 1989 in Deggendorf, Germany. From  2012 to 2016, he studied Applied Theater Studies in Giessen. Before, he participated in the P14 in production by René Pollesch and 400asa at the Berlin Volksbühne. During his studies, he worked as performer, director and author for the development of various collective projects, some of which have been shown at national and international festivals (“Wilsonstrasse”, Mannheim, “180 ° Festival for New Music”, Sofia). He also worked freelance or as assistant, among others at the Schauspiel Frankfurt, the Schaubühne Berlin and the Mousonturm Frankfurt. In 2017 he was nominated for the Retzhofer Drama Award. Since 2017, he works as dramaturge assistant at the Schaubühne Berlin. Most recently as an author in the series “Theater ist endlich ist Theater” at the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin.
